A Country Boys Trip to Newcastle . . .

Leica M8, Voigtlander 35mm f2.5

I must admit that as a Country Dweller, I find the City a confusing yet exciting place to be. Maybe that’s why, whilst City Dwellers head in their droves to the Countryside on a sunny weekend, I choose to leave the tranquility of the Pastures Green and head to ‘The Smoke’?

Wasn’t sure if this Guy was Making a Call, or Answering a Call of Nature . . .

. . . with his cunning array of disguises, Tony was able to blend seamlessly into any situation . . .

. . . was this Guy a ‘lookout’ for a jewellery heist . . .

. . . I’ll have some of what he’s drinking . . .

. . . It’s a job I suppose . . .

. . . If you’re not happy as yourself, become someone else . . .

. . . You don’t see many of these down a country lane (if you look closely at the Traffic Wardens reflection in the window, it looks like he’s about to ‘Eat A Knuckle Sandwich’) . . .

. . . His message was clear (over and over and over), “You need Jesus” . . .

. . . with the grey hair and the old tweed jacket, I could have sworn I was following Henri Cartier-Bresson . . .
