. . . Edinburgh was a new city to me. I’d never been before, but I’m glad I did. It’s a large, imposing place, the main central and surrounding areas being spread far and wide, with no apparent order to their layouts . . .
. . . However, Edinburgh had a very warm and welcoming feel to it . . .
. . . And as I walked around from Block to Block with the Fuji X-E1 . . .
. . . I noticed my photography style was changing . . .
. . . Back to my ‘Old Style’ . . .
. . . The way it used to be . . .
. . . From before too much time spent on photography forums . . .
. . . And the ‘Experts’ that haunt them, rudely stating that . . .
. . . If I was to be taken seriously as a Street Photographer . . .
. . . My photo’s MUST be about people . . .
. . . Or if not, my pictures would remain as ‘Souvenir Snap-Shots’. 😀
I had forgotten how rewarding it can be . . .
. . . To photograph the things that catch my eye . . .
. . . And stick the proverbial ‘two fingers’ up at the forum Oracles.
Now I’ve got that off my chest . . .
. . . Please enjoy the rest of the pictures . . .
. . . From my recent trip to Edinburgh . . .
. . . And my trusty Fuji X-E1 . . .
. . . I only used to shoot a Leica . . .
. . . Because forum etiquette dictates that if you don’t, you’re not a serious photographer. 😛
Just checked out the Edinburgh stuff , love the black and white timeless feel!
You certainly have created an atmosphere, cant wait to visit some day!

Nice shots, street style, have to say when I was there they had the unite / gay pride festival on. Quite a protest by all accounts.
